Goals met, Dreams Achieved, What’s Next?

Goals met, Dreams achieved on a mountaintop

This is the question that gets thrown around a lot after accomplishing some of the highest goals of our life. We train, grow and conquer, but what's next after that?

After accomplishing all that one has ever dreamed, the answer to "What's next?" is a common one and always on the mind of Athletes, business owners, or intrinsically motivated entrepreneurs. Here are a few possibilities:

1. Set new goals:

Once you have achieved your dreams, you can set new goals for yourself. These goals can be related to personal growth, professional development, relationships, hobbies, or even making a positive impact on the world. Constantly challenging yourself and striving for new achievements can provide a sense of purpose and fulfillment.

2. Give back and help others:

Having achieved your dreams, you may find fulfillment in giving back to others and making a positive difference in their lives. This could involve mentoring, volunteering, or supporting charitable causes that resonate with you. Sharing your knowledge, resources, and experiences can be incredibly rewarding.

3. Explore new passions and interests:

Now that you have achieved your dreams, you may have the opportunity to explore new passions and interests that you never had the time or resources for before. It could involve pursuing creative endeavors, learning new skills, traveling, or immersing yourself in different cultures. Embracing curiosity and a thirst for new experiences can lead to personal growth and fulfillment.

4. Focus on personal well-being:

After accomplishing your dreams, it's essential to prioritize your own well-being. This includes taking care of your physical, mental, and emotional health. Engaging in activities that bring you joy, practicing self-care, maintaining healthy relationships, and finding a work-life balance are all important aspects of leading a fulfilling life.

5. Reflect and appreciate:

Take the time to reflect on your journey and appreciate the accomplishments you have made. Celebrate your successes and the lessons learned along the way. Gratitude and mindfulness can help you find contentment in the present moment and provide a solid foundation for future endeavors.

What's Next in Your Life?

Remember, life is a continuous journey, and while achieving your dreams is significant, it does not mark the end of growth and fulfillment. It's important to continue setting new goals and finding meaning in each stage of your life.

In Ecclesiastes, the main message Solomon is presenting is; life and the pursuit of anything without God is meaningless and will never give you what it promises!

Still to this day, no one has had as much as Solomon. When asked for what he wanted most, he asked for wisdom, and God granted it.

Because Solomon's heart was in the right place when asked what he wanted most, God granted him everything that could be experienced under the sun in the human condition.

Wisdom in Solomon's life is what has given us the ability to understand the depth of life. Wisdom, meaning that though he didn't always do what was right in the eyes of the Lord. He gave us what he experienced, having experienced everything under the sun through trial and error.

Jesus is the one who gives meaning, calling, and the greatest purpose we could ever imagine. Without Christ, we will only desire more, always searching for contentment-inner peace.

As the old saying goes, "How much is enough? Just a little more"!

There is nothing wrong with money in of itself; however, the love of money or the excessive focus on wealth can lead to negative outcomes such as greed, selfishness, and unethical behaviors.

Whatever you do, do it from the heart, as something done for the Lord and not for people.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

May you have life, peace, and contentment and have it abundantly!!☝🏾
